Industrial Gas Networks

For the needs of industrial gas networks, our engineering office specializes in designing alternatives to traditional sheet piling (e.g., Larssen piles). We provide shoring solutions for narrow-space, linear, and point excavations, as well as wide-area excavations and long- distance trenching (e.g., exceeding 100 meters in length).

The Kopras engineering office has developed a proprietary system based on the concept of a systemic wall. This solution utilizes vertical wide-flange profiles that are driven, pressed, or pre-drilled into the ground at intervals corresponding to the length of prefabricated steel plates.

Key Advantages:

  • Weight Efficiency: Our shoring systems are significantly lighter than Larssen steel
    sheet piles.
  • Durability & Sustainability: Most components, such as the plates, are reusable with
a lifespan of up to 20 years.
  • Environmental Impact: With growing environmental awareness, major investors in
the gas pipeline sector are increasingly replacing traditional sheet piling with Kopras
    post-and-plate shoring systems.
