About Us

KOPRAS Ltd., headquartered in Szklarnia near Wronki, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of modular trench shoring systems for securing temporary excavations—commonly known as trench boxes.

The company’s history dates back to 1987, when Marek Kopras, currently the CEO and majority shareholder of this family-owned business, first established the company. In its early years, KOPRAS focused on the construction of water and sewage networks as well as land reclamation. In 1992, the company manufactured its first modular trench shoring systems.

Today, KOPRAS stands for decades of experience in the design, production, and application of temporary excavation shoring. Our latest solutions, developed in our in-house design office and manufactured in our production facilities using state-of-the-art welding equipment, are implemented throughout Europe. Despite its rapid international expansion, KOPRAS remains a family business at heart, consistently supporting the growth of Polish enterprise.

Mission

“Providing trench shoring systems is more than just a business—it is a mission,” first stated Marek Kopras, the company’s co-owner and CEO, in a 1987 interview. This principle has remained the cornerstone of our operations throughout the years. We prioritize construction site safety and foster a deep respect for human life. To this end, we organize and participate in numerous lectures, seminars, technical conferences, and industry meetings—many of which are still personally led by our CEO.

Safety

We were the first to introduce products to the market designed for underground utility installations that do not require personnel to enter the excavation before the shoring is fully installed. Our team consists of highly qualified professionals with extensive practical experience gained on diverse construction sites. Our products, which hold all necessary European certifications, are sold and rented to clients across all of Europe.
We also provide professional assistance in securing investment subsidies from the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), which can cover up to 80% of the costs of purchasing our shoring systems.
