The project involved the design and implementation of temporary shoring for a deep open excavation required for the construction of a prefabricated rainwater tank. The site was located in the immediate vicinity of an existing four-story educational building belonging to the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Poznań University of Medical Sciences.
For this task, a slide-rail shoring system (pillar construction) type OWS 7 was utilized. The system featured end closures consisting of an RKD/9 upper frame—acting as guides for KD6/8 trench sheets—and a bottom beam.

KOPRAS was responsible for the detailed design (executive design) of the temporary shoring, including an impact assessment of the deep excavation on the adjacent existing building and surrounding infrastructure.
